On the south coast of Mindoro Island are two sites that are definitely worth visiting.
The first is Kilima Drift. As Puerto Galera gets strong currents, there are places where drift dives can be exhilarating. This is one of them and you can get from Sinandigan Wall (see below) to Escarceo Point in as little as 10 mins, making it one of the fastest around. As you sweep down the coast, you'll see schools of barracuda, mackerel, trevally and the occasional Blacktip reef shark all waiting for their food. Care should be taken on this drift and you should only go in small groups and with an experienced guide.
Sinandigan Wall Sinandigan Wall itself drops from 5-30m and is particularly well-known for its variety of invertebrates. Nudibranches are found in profusion and colour-changing cuttlefish are common. The site is very popular with photographers.
