Micronesia :: Yap : Yap Corner

This recently discovered site is found at the mouth of M'il Channel and is a great location to see large feeding pelagics at any time, but particularly when there's a stronger current on the incoming tide.

A coral outcrop juts out from the wall at 7m and drops away to the depths. Grey reef sharks are common here as they feed on passing tuna and rainbow runners. Mantas, eagle rays, parrotfish, jacks and other varieties of shark visit reglarly as well.
