Thailand :: Chumphon : Koh Lak Ngam

The twin pinnacles here can be home to bigger fish when the currents are strong. Its not unusual to spot hunting trevallys and jacks at this spot. Curious Batfish may also be around for a look at the divers and there are numerous large anemones and clams. A figure of eight can be done around the formation during the dive where rocky outcrops are covered in whip corals. A disturbing site here is the presence of many fishing nets tangled up on the corals, again dissapointing that the Thai authorities are not protecting their marine areas despite labelling them "Marine National Parks".
