Indonesia :: Bunaken : Fukui Point

Named after a Japanese instructor who first documented the dive site over 20 years ago this spot is slightly different to the typical Bunaken dive site. Instead of a vertical wall it has more of a slope with a few short, steep drops. This site is a cleaning station so expect to see some larger fish coming in for a service. Mackerel, batfish and two resident napoleon wrasse are seen here, redtooth triggerfish shoal here when the currents are running.

A sandy patch makes a good habitat for garden eels and there are five large five large tridacna giant clams in the vicinity.
